Frescos on Ice

We've just recently rediscovered Frescos on Ice for takeaway fish and chips, snacks etc. It has been a really lovely surprise to discover a quality seafood café here in The Gap. We've been back a couple of times and the quality, freshness and generosity of serves has continued. Can thoroughly recommend: Crumbed Sea Perch $12 ea Calamari $8 for 6 Thick cut chips $4 per serve potato scallop $2 ea Garlic Chicken balls.$5 for 6

Had the crumbed Snapper and chips, great size fillet and so fresh, tasty chips, all cooked perfectly. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time and reasonably priced. Many Thanks, appreciated 👍

Thanks Mario for the best, freshest - and biggest prawns ever! Not sure that my peri peri sauce lived up to the prawns - but the prawns were so good and yummy, not much needed to add to them. Guests all head over heels with the results. And you still have the best and tenderest calamari in Australia.

Awesome crisp and crunchy chips. Chicken salt complemented the chips very well. Just needed more salt though. Dine in not an option. Went back day 2 to try cod and chips. 1 inch thick slab of cod was amazing. A very generous portion of fish. Chips were the same as previously mentioned. Just needed more chicken salt though. Highly recommend this shop for fish and chips 100%
